Latest Competiton-Kiddies art gallery

On Sunday 15th May Halo Crafts will launch it's newest Facebook based competiton.....an art contest featuring work by fans children....

The competition will be open to children under the age of 10 and the prize for the winner will be an 8x8 sized hand painted canvas with a character of the childs choice (this will depend on whether the character is paintable or not and will be discussed with the winners parent when the competition is complete)

How it will work, entrants will have up to a week to draw/paint/create a picture of their favourite TV/Book/Film character...the photo's can be emailed to halocrafts@yahoo.co.uk and will then be moved into a special photo album (entrants parents are free to tag themselves in the photo's when the album is open) after a week on dispaly 5 entrants will be chosen by overall popularity (based on their "likes") the top 5 will then be shown to our special and highly qualified judge.....my 7 year old son Christopher, who will choose his favourite picture as the winning piece.

Because of Facebook rules not allowing us to contact winners through their site the top 5 entrants (well their parents/guardian) will be asked to provide email addresses so we can let them know if they've been chosen as the lucky winner!

T&C's-
The competition is open to children under 10 years old...the parents/guardian must upload their entry.

Open to all fans however only UK enrants will qualify for free postage and packing of their prize....so any international entrants will need to contact us about postage costs before taking part.

This competition is in no way assosciated with Facebook and is solely ran by Halo Crafts, parents/entrants asknowledge this fact when taking part.....as well as agreeing that their childs art work and name be shown in the competitions photo album.

Entrants will have from May 15th to May 22nd to enter their pieces, the following week will be used to decide the top 5 with the winner being chosen on June 2nd.

The top 5 entrants will be the 5 most popular pieces as shown by "like" numbers which we see on our page, sometimes individual pages show different like numbers/comments etc.....however it will be the numbers seen on the Halo Crafts page that will decide. We are not specifically asking members to like photo's however the top 5 will be those who have proven most popular.

Cristophers decision will be final, he will not see the entrants until the top 5 are chosen and he is deciding which is the winner. He will not know the names of the entrants etc...and will choose purely on which he likes the best. He's a talented little artist himself and will be far more impartial, and more likely to choose which he "likes best" then an adult who may be swayed by artistic ability/techincal skills etc.....

The top 5 entrants parents/guardian will need to provide an email address in the event that their child wins so that we can contact them to let them know, discuss the prize and postal details etc...by entering your childs work you agree to being contacted by myself to discuss the competition/prize......you will not recieve any spam/unwanted mail not associated with the contest

The prize is an 8x8 canvas painting of the childs choice, character depending on whether or not I am able to paint it well (I wont agree to a character if I don't feel I can do it well as I don't want to send out a bad prize) The prize includes free postage to a UK address....however international entrants will need to contact us regarding shipping before entering the competition. The prize is non-transferable, we will not offer an alternative or cash value.

Facebook Raffle- Update

We've decided to increase everyones chance of winning by doubling the number of "tickets" you recieve, so instead of just one entry into the draw for your 50p you will receieve 2, this will also apply to anyone who has already paid for "tickets". The draw will still take place on May 15th and the winner will still get to choose any prize from the ready to go Halo Crafts items.....currently there has not been enough interest (despite this being the celebration method that was most populat in the poll we ran) to draw more then one prize however if interest increases this may change.x
